Company Milestone
Over 50 years of experiences on Aquarium fishes since 1969, we are proud to continue serving our global & local customers for another 50 years and so on in the future.
Our Founder Mr. Wong Ah Mun started to work as Trainee to breed Angel fish, tetra fish, corydoras in Sembawang Singapore.
When Singapore Government launched Agriculture Transformation, Mr. Wong returned to Johor Malaysia hometown to continue farm breeding, breed barbs & Angel fishes to supply Singapore exporters.
Begin to step into retail and export sector on aquatic products and live tropical fishes to Asia countries, such as Taiwan, Hong Kong and Korea.
Left previous shared company and founded AQUA LEISURE SDN BHD. Specialist on exporting over 500 types of ornamental fishes to Asia and exploring Europe and Middle East countries.
Second generation assist on farming expansion. Expansion into downstream (arowana/ dragon fish breeding farm) which based in Kulai Johor, for the purposes to control fishes quality & full control on supply sources.
Gained international standard and achieved CITES license A-MY-520 from Geneva, this has allowed AQUA LEISURE to trade F3 and aboved generation in global market.
Successfully to produce 3000 tails yearly to cater overseas market.
Expansion and invest another arowana farm in perak to cater over-demand from overseas market, especially China domestic market.
Move to new corporate factory with area of 12,000 square feets.
Expansion on Retails Department focus on Aquatic, Reptile and aquascape products.
Successfully explore new joint venture business at Beijing China for Mainland China local market Arowana Distribution channel.
Set up Aquaclinic to focus on fishes diseases & surgical operation related services. Obtained remarkable AquaPets Factory Outlet in Southern Johor.
Expansion on Wholesale & Retails on Pet products (Cat & Dog).
Invent our private label products- OCIO ACUATICO. A brand that produce Aquatics and petcare accessories and products. Wholesale aquarium fishes and aquapets products to Malaysia local fish shop.
